Well people, in my absence, in addition to working on a musical and my track team, I wrote this. It is episode 12 of Star Trek Sovereign. http://www.geocities.com/nx-74222/ep12.html Tell me what you think ------------------ Brandon "Enterprise" Grasmick Commanding Officer, USS Sovereign (NCC-74222) "Captain, the Sona crew are willing to negotiate a cease fire. It may have something to do with the fact that we have 3 minutes of air left." -- Worf Inter Arma Enim Silent Leges -- In time of war the law falls silent.

Oh, and before I forget, you might want to read a few other episodes to understand part of the plot. But, I will explain it to you.Big terrorist organization with funky name, want to do away with Federation. The other stories do a better job.

The Borg are submitting rather quickly, aren't they? I mean, what's in it for the Borg? They have forces enough to destroy the Federation (just send 20 cubes and go on temporal cruising again!) and don't need futile Shadows to help them.Just assimilate the Shadows, so you have their info and tech and attack te feds! BTW. I think the Borg must start to think smaller to destroy UFP. Small fighter like things or infiltration operations. ------------------ "When You're Up to Your Ass in Alligators, Today Is the First Day of the Rest of Your Life." -- Management slogan, Ridcully-style (Terry Pratchett, The Last Continent, Discworld) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prakesh's Star Trek Site

Oh yeah, and other than that, it really is a very good story!

In part two, we will find out why the heck that the Borg are in this small alliance anyway. The way I currently envison it (and probably won't on paper until Thursday when I'm on the bus to the district Track meet) the Borg are using the Shadows to get rid of a couple of obstacles that bite them right in the arse, so they don't have to worry about it.I was kind of thinking of one of Bill Shatner's books when the Borg were alligned with a few Romulans who they said they wouldn't assimilate. ------------------ Brandon "Enterprise" Grasmick Commanding Officer, USS Sovereign (NCC-74222) "Captain, the Sona crew are willing to negotiate a cease fire.
