The Borg are submitting rather quickly, aren't they? I mean, what's in it for the Borg? They have forces enough to destroy the Federation (just send 20 cubes and go on temporal cruising again!) and don't need futile Shadows to help them.
Just assimilate the Shadows, so you have their info and tech and attack te feds!
BTW. I think the Borg must start to think smaller to destroy UFP. Small fighter like things or infiltration operations.

In part two, we will find out why the heck that the Borg are in this small alliance anyway. The way I currently envison it (and probably won't on paper until Thursday when I'm on the bus to the district Track meet) the Borg are using the Shadows to get rid of a couple of obstacles that bite them right in the arse, so they don't have to worry about it.
I was kind of thinking of one of Bill Shatner's books when the Borg were alligned with a few Romulans who they said they wouldn't assimilate.
