Obviously, I wrote this during the first few years the show was on and before I lost interest. <P>Essentially, Janeway, XO Cmdr. Cavit, the original (living) Doctor (can't think of his name off-hand) had to try and figure out who was sabotauging the ship. A Maquis sympathizer among the crew, who knew of the ship's mission, and was systematicly working to delay <i>Voyager's</i> launch. <P>Ben Sisko had a cameo, and I even worked in the scene with Paris and Kim at Quark's. The story took place after Janeway recruited Paris from New Zealand, but before he and Kim arrived at DS9. If we include the 14 days at warp 9 to get to DS9 and 6 hours to get to the badlands at warp 9. The events in "relativity" could have mean't voyager was rushed into service as the prototype USS Intrepid could have been too far away (at least 120 light years away from Earth) to perform to the mission. Instead Voyager was pushed into service and spendt 10 days in Earth orbit (this was when Janeway visited Tom Paris in New Zealand.) Voyager then spendt 14 days at warp 9) while Voyager was 4 days into her warp journey to DS9, Tom Paris was transferred to another starship which was suppying Starbase 375 with supplies left Earth & proceeded to Starbase 375 (a 9 day trip at warp 9). Paris and the Staddi transfered to a shuttle as the starship they were on was then procedding to Betazed. They spendt 8 days on the shuttle procedding to Bajor at warp.<BR>They arrive and the events of caretaker takes off <br /> </font> </td></tr> </table></td></tr></table> <br /> <br />
