If any of you CGI wizards out there could give me a hand in helping me design the U.S.S. Legacy, I would appreciate it, as I know nothing about computer aided design.

Here's the template that I started with: http://flareupload.hypermart.net/files/U.S.S.%20Legacy.jpg

As you can see, this preliminary design was taken from the fourth Nova concept drawing in the TNG TM. I'm trying to design the ship based on the shape of the hilt of a sword (for reasons I won't get into right now). Keep in mind that this is just the basic shape I was thinking for the ship, not its actual appearance. This Nova concept was the closest design I could find to what I wanted.

Lisa: "Don't you remember the story of Oedipus?"
Homer: "Maybe five dollars will refresh my memory."
Lisa (angrily): "Oedipus was the story of a man who kills his father and marries his mother!"
Homer: "Uggh! Who pays for that wedding?"

At that point, McDonald fired his gun three times in the air to emphasize his point. The crowd, estimated at 350,000, loudly cheered the new candidate.

"Let me make this clear: I am the law! I am your ruler! And you will have fries with that, motherf*cker!"

GA: Thank you so much for your insightful reply. I knew I could count on someone like you to lend a helping hand.

Lisa: "OK, now we're gonna pick jobs out of the chore hat. Dad, you go first."
Homer: "Come on, bikini inspector...scrub toilet! Ohhhwww...OK, that was a practice..."

No bother at all, Dukhat. Glad to be of service.
Oh okay...

It looks rather interseting, but wierd at the same time. I'd like to get a look at it from the side - the "secondary hull" has good potential for TEH LOADZ 0VV PHAZ3RZZZ!!!!

Well, the "secondary hull" is mainly just removeable crew quarters, unless someone can come up with any other ideas.

I suppose I should have made a paper drawing to go along with the Nova concept, such as what they start with at the ASDB.

It reminds me of Naboo fighters from Star Wars 1...

Don't take this negative, I like the design. I'm also the one reponsible for the infamous Outrider Class, based on Dash Rendar's Outrider.

What's this Outrider Class?

Guh? "Star Wars"-influenced Starfleet ships?

Can't say that I haven't done it myself...

There was some movie starring Scott Baio (I think it was "Zapped") where he had a kitbashed model of the Millennium Falcon mixed with a model of the refit Enterprise. IIRC, the whole MF body was used minus the upper sensor dish and the sidecar. The "front" of the ship was actually the back, and where the two prongs stick out, the Enterprise's nacelles & pylons were glued to the top of them. It actually looked pretty cool.

Here's a sketch I came up with. I'm not sure if I will eventually want to go with the organic look, but like I said, I will take any help I can get.

Does that last design remind anyone of something?

Conn: "Captain, an object is heading our way. It looks like a massive..."

Austin Powers type scene takes place.

I don't know whether to be happy that someone finally responded to my post, or to be upset that someone made fun of my sketch...

Oh, what the hell, Hobbes. I thought your comment was rather funny

BTW, the "tip" is the shuttlebay door, so the "shaft" wouldn't actually be "coming" toward you, but rather flying away from you.
