In a just world, Harrison Ford would have to pilot that for eternity as pennance for Last Crusade....with Sean Connery around his neck like an albatross.
But I'm just being nice because I'm full of Holiday Glee.

And just what did you find so objectionable about Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?

Wrong universe - that line is from the TOS episode The Trouble with Tribbles. Spoken by a Klingon about the Enterprise...

That's like saying STV was the best of the Trek movies. Really, it's a pale shadow of the other two. Plus, Indy's pal rom the university is reduced to poor comedy relief, while in the first movie, he seems to be a suave (if past his prime) mentor version of Indy himself.
Mabye I just hate slapstick in an adventure movie- that whole "got lost in his own museum" really pissed me off..way to ruin a cool supporting character. [ December 29, 2005, 07:20 PM: Message edited by: Jason Abbadon ]

Oh yeah, without a doubt
Thought that ship might've been from the same company who's Jody F Millenium (yup, named for the actress Jodi Foster) ran aground here in NZ a few years back... http://http://www.niwascience.co.nz/rc/prog/chaz/news/jodyfm_large.jpg/view

I always thought that the first movie was the best, the first movie is always the best. the second one usually sucks. and the third usually does a fairly decent job of making up for the second. Last Crusade was definately the funnier movie tho and Sean Connery was damn funny.
BTW Jim, that link there just takes me on a roundabout trip through google and finally to the microsoft home page...

It's just that there's too many "http://"s in there. This should work:

Were I a celebrity, I'm not sure how flatttered I'd be to have a ship like the above Falcon named after me. Millennium Nolte.

At the risk of continuing the off-topic tangent, (ha ha, who are we kidding this is Flare right?) I liked Temple of Doom, but there's no way you can say it was better than Last Crusade. Calling the latter is a "pale shadow" of the former is...insane. Now, Raiders is a different matter, mind you. It is the original and the best.

No way- Temple of Doom was great all by itself, and did not have to resort to the "Evil Nazis want to rule TEH WORLD via God's Magic!" thing. Last Crusade was just a poor copy of Raiders' plot, while Temple was unique -and cool in that it's set before Raiders.
Besides, the whole nightclub scene was amazing- everything was perfectly coreographed and filmed to be exciting and funny at the same time- without being silly.
