Specifically, songs for my band to play. The leader accepts suggestions, and I gave her a list last night for next semester, but seeing as we've got one more concert before we break for the summer, I thought I'd see if there were any other good ones I'd missed.
My list thus far:

Anyone know any other good band songs? I prefer reasonably well-known ones, or movie themes, so that there's a chance of finding a score in print; or at least a MIDI file, so that a score can be arranged. Just anything that you think might sound good played by an ensamble, really. Any suggestions?

What sort of band plays stuff from Benny Goodman's Sing, Sing, Sing to Bach's Little' Fugue in G Minor.

I would ask about the composition of your band
Typical High School band, with a little less variety in instruments than you'd expect. We can get any percussion needed. We have soprano clarinets, flutes, piccolos, trumpets, alto saxes, trombones (perhaps singular next semester), a French horn, and two baritones, plus a bass clarinet (your's truely) and a tenor sax. We can get a tuba or piano, if needed. We MAY have an oboe next semester, but no promises.

You mean actually played in real life? So would I. That's why I suggested them.

Just for you, I may look that one up and do it. I'm not turning it in as a suggestion, of course.

Hmm... I was going to recommend Johann de Meij's Symphony #1: The Lord of the Rings but that requires a extensive symphony band. If you are ever able to play it, I highly recommend it.
There's an arragement of Siegfried's Funeral March that would work nicely with that sort of composition. It's from Richard Wagner's Die Gotterdammerung. I played this arrangement in high school, but, alas, I can't remember who did the arrangement. The Hounds of Spring is another piece I played in high school that could work for ya'll. The composer's name is Reed (I'm pretty sure on that). If you have an awesome clarinet player, try Immer Kleiner (it's basically a long clarinet solo with band interludes). And, of course, you should be able to find a reasonable arrangement of Aaron Copland's Appachalian Spring or Rodeo.
If you want to try marches, Fanfare for a New Age is one I played in college. It's a march with a modern and somewhat techno-ish twist.

Know that Mark Williams writes/arranges good material for small bands that may not have the best or ideal instrumentation, from husband's choice of music for his 6-12 grade bands.

Well, I really prefer MIDIs. MP3s don't do me too much good. I have no ear, so far as music is concerned. We have to have notes to work with before we can do anything.

We'll just have the flutes play that part. It works quite well in the MIDI.

The sad thing is that aside from "Bald Mountain", I've never heard any of these, and can't find MIDIs...
