Did it take you 11 minutes to write that post? Or were you just not paying attention? [Wink]

Guess I wasn't paying attention since I didn't even see this thread. In any, I'll just repost my thoughts here and let the other thread die a slow painful death.

So Sylar doesn't eat brains, but he pokes at them and gains the victims power? Also it still begs what happens to the brain since we've seen earlier victims with their noggin totally removed.

By injecting himself with the formula, Mohinder is turning into Jeff Goldblum in "The Fly".

The Earth is gonna be destroyed by seismic activity.

Did Future Peter put Present Peter in the body of that bad guy or did he merely give FPete the apperance of the bad guy. If that's the case, than what happened to the real bad guy?

Claire can't feel pain anymore, so she's flipping out(teens [Roll Eyes] ).

I really wish Mo' had gained the Superpower of "Not making the WRONG decision". It seems like every choice he makes turns out to be a "DOH!".

I thought that Sylar's line to Claire was a hilarious answer to all the speculation that he was eating brain food.

We know now that Hiro doesn't actually stop time, though that whole confrontation thing with Quick-Chick just seemed implausible to me.

Is Nate having a psychosis or is Linderman actually communicating similar to the way Charles did with Peter?

Since Adam's blood is in Nate is he now immortal too? Or just how many times can he regenerate if not?

Do the L5 bad dudes seem a little lame so far to anyone else but me?

Linderman had the ability to heal, so at a stretch, it's possible he somehow returned to life, became invisible and revived Nathan... you're right, Nathan's nuts.

The bad guys seem a little lame, but the scene where the guy was burning someone alive just for fun gave them some credibility as evil villains who have to be stopped.

Good to have the impending disaster established early on, but it's lazy of the writers to introduce it in the same way every season. Each season Hiro or Peter has gone into the future and seen what will happen if they don't save the world. At least this time it was a different city, though.

Anyway, these two episodes really impressed me after the fairly crumby second season. Fast paced and answering a few long-term questions (Angela's power, as well as what Sylar does with the brains), I hope it continues like this. The only part I didn't like was the end of the first episode where Mohinder probably had his longest monologue of the entire show. That seemed to go on for forever.

Johnny: There's a reason for that.

(edited the post because the board doesn't like parentheses in URLs. It's a Wikipedia link, I assure you.)

Mmm, I got that he was quoting something, but it felt quite out of place to me. Wise monologues never seem quite right coming from a character that makes so many bad decisions.

I enjoyed this. It looks like they may be getting back from the rather crappy second season by focusing on one big 'disaster' early on, and getting everyone into the same story from the start. No more side-stories that take forever to evolve.

There's still too much unknown to make any useful guesses, but I do wonder what kind of nutjob we have now, that wants to blow the Earth in half. I suppose that goes beyond even what Linderman would do.

OK, I'm in the middle of 3.02 now, and I have a few things to say.

First of all: I swear, Matt and Hiro are half the reason I watch this show.

That said, I'm liking the shouts out to the first season. And Sylar's "That'd be gross" from 3.01.

We know Niki and Jessica were twins (at least before Jessica died -- or did she really?). There's got to be something going on with that and this Tracy person.

I'm going to wait a few episodes until I pass full judgement. TPTB have said in interviews and such that they want to treat each volume as a semi-separate entity, so I'm kind of thinking of each as their own series of a sort, if that makes any sense.

Also, this?

Made me go AAAAAAAAAAARGH.

IT'S DISCREET, PEOPLE. "Discrete" is a completely different word.

"We know Niki and Jessica were twins..."

Wasn't it said that Jessica was older?

Perhaps not noticeably?

I've honestly lost track of some plot threads so I don't remember if Nikki still works for the company, what happened to her son & his 'mimic power' cousin or for that matter the girl that can find anyone. I also have a lousy memory for names. [Wink]

Niki: died in a fire.

Micah and Monica: No idea.

Molly: Mohinder has a line about dropping her off at the airport, and sending her somewhere she'll be safe.

Interference from the future...then an injection made from a latina girl's blood can give anyone powers...what is this, The 4400? [Wink]

And then there's that stupid "we only use dur 10% of our dur brains" myth.

Also you'd think super strength would automatically equal super speed with super long strides.
