OK, so my flatmate goes to the States for a wedding, and he asks me if there's anything I want. "Oh, bring me back a Twinkie" I say, and forget all about it.

He comes back, no Twinkie. Not that it occurred to me.

Then he gets a parcel from his friend. In it, a small box that a new Hard Drive might come in, and nestling within two packets of Twinkies.

*Homer speak* Mmm. . . four fingers of spongy goodness. . .

My impression: hmm, wrapping slightly greasy. . . light, fluffy, sort of cream stuff inside. . . strange taste. We both agree they're weird. Different. I think Creme Eggs retain their supremacy.

PS: No, I'm not sending anyone Creme Eggs by international mail. Even if, unlike you, we do get them all the year round. 8)

I've decided to shove several boxes of creme eggs in the freezer so that I TOO can have Creme Eggs all year round!

You know, my aunt is going to be in the UK for a few weeks starting...uh, starting this week, I think.

But before anyone gets excited, she's going to be in Wales. There is the promise of a kitchy gift bearing the name of said locale, though.
