Moon dust is interesting. I've never heard of this so-called "Lunar Hay Fever."

In the geological world we call that regolith. And one of the grad students at my uni is working on making a simulated regolith for testing purposes.

I wonder how strong it is.
Could be used to build the supports for the tunnels and domes. Maybe need some rebar but that would lighten the loads sent.

It already likes to stick to everything but it's self. Find the right additive and I'm betting you get something storng.

I was thinking of the solidification mentioned in the article when exposed to microwaves.
Put it in a mold, perhaps with some carbon fibre re-bar, and nuke it for a few seconds.

The carbon fiber may provide the strength while the nuked dust provides the rigidity.

I'd like to set up the fist lunar vacuum shop though, make a fortune.

How you build these buildings "Pa," Well son, we put all the ingrediants together, then nuked em on High for five to five and a half minutes.
