Looks like the Mayor of San Fransico forgot to deploy the Patriot Missile defence system.

(/suspension of disbelief) The damage could not have come from photon torpedoes, or there wouldn't be a Frisco left to be seen.(suspension of disbelief)

It'd be nice if one of the ships passed close to the Golden Gate bridge. At least, the size of that is fixed...

Hmm. Nice shot of a Steamrunner in there too, AND a couple of Akiras. . . )

Those Domies and Breen must have attacked fast though. Notice how starfleet headquarters is ll that's destoired. The city on the other side of the bay is unscratched. I wonder if they attacked the federation council chambers....if they had attacked mid-session, they could have killed some very important people.

*South Park speak* OH MY GOD! YOU DAMAGED THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE! YOU B@$$TARDS!

PREPARE TO DIE, YOU STUPID JEMMIES!!!

Just how hard do you all think it will be for them to fix the bridge?

*is awed, but then again, that's with seeing the trailer the day before too!*

Why are there shots from "Tears of the Prophets" I wonder? I wish there weren't.

And we finally get to see a Nebula? Oh joy, oh joy!

Akiras? They're always nice too.

Hopefully not the same as the Breen ship from "Penumbra". These ones here are a bit small...

It would be nice if the designs varied as well, considering how they're supposedly biological.

Never thought you'd do another one because big fleet battles are so pass-aaaay-aaaay! :]

anyone knows that song?

I think those things around the federation fleet are pieces of debris. And no, I don't think those piuctures are from TotP, though it is Chin'Toka in those pictures. Supposedly in this episode, the Defiant is assigned to help maintain the allies' foothold in the Chin'Toka system. That debris could have been from the Battle of Chin'Toka (TofP), the Dominion counter-offensive at Chin'Toka (between TofP and Shadows and Symbols), the countinued fighting in chin'Toka (mentioned in The Siege of AR-88), or perhaps anohter dominion counter-offensive to take back the system, or all of these.

BTW, might Boothby be dead? Might all the cadets at starfleet be dead? (woohoo, no morte wesley crusher's! they're all dead!)

It's one thing to be spoiled,
but quite another when the smegging machine insists all the images CONTAIN NO DATA.

DAmn you Simplenet, damn you all the way to HELL!

P.S. Fear not for the safety of the Federation Council. If they are at all like the British government, they'll probably have all been holidaying in Corsica during their "Smeg!-That's-a-hell-of-a-long-summer-recess" recess.

My server has now cleared enough to allow me to see the carnage....Hmmmmmm

While the tactic of destroying enemy bridges is a time-honored piece of miltary advice, one has to question the wisdom of this dominion attack.
That is to say, why not just NUKE THE WHOLE CITY?

Simple, effective, small bomb needed. Perfectly feasible if they could penetrate all defences to actually mount an air raid. Darn sight more effective too than strafing buildings.

Don't tell me the Dommies were concerned about "collateral damage"?!!!!

(some of the following will only make sense to folks who know about/are involved in the Trek RPG I run. I don't care.)

Hm. They blew up the Golden Gate Bridge.

*blinks*

THEY BLEW UP THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE??!??!??!

*turns to a comm unit*
First of Two to Captain: USS Invictus! Wake up, LaBrasca! I've got a job for you! The damn dommies just wasted SFH and blew up the Golden gate!
*shouting from other side of comm unit*
Yes, I know it's 1 AM! Go back an' replay what I just said!
*Pause*
*extremely loud squawking over comm unit*
Yeah, that's right, surfer-boy!
*more squawking*
Damn straight! As of this moment, the Dominion is DEAD! Cardassia, DEAD! The Breen, DEAD! The Jem'Hadar, DEAD! The Vorta, DEAD! The Founders, DEAD! The Karemma... what? The Karemma weren't involved with this? *blusters* Well.. they KNOW the Dominion, so f*ck 'em! They're DEAD! GET TO WORK!!!
