If we disreguard ENT's recent encounter with the Romulans, anyone know of any scources that give an idea when the first exploration/war ships or bases were built. I know some references to Diane Duane's books make it appear that they weren't present before they made contact with the Federation. Anyone else have any insight?

Hey, all...resident new guy here.

I may be making an obvious statement here, but I think Masao Okazaki's Starfleet Museum site does a great job addressing early Romulan ships. It is my personal canon.

Yeah, it's part of my personal canon too.

I really didn't have any idea you hung around here. I'm not following' ya, honest.

I remember how my great-uncle Jerry would sit on the porch and whittle all day long. Once he whittled me a toy boat out of a larger toy boat I had. It was almost as good as the first one, except now it had bumpy whittle marks all over it. And no paint, because he had whittled off the paint.

I'm not getting the chance to 'see' it, though I do read the synopsis when they come out. Supposedly the armed forces channel carries it, but I haven't seen it there yet, and I don't have Japanese cable.

My take is, at best, its a 24th serial fictionalization of the last days prior to the Federation. Its much easier to ignore the irritating aspects of this series than for some eps I have seen.

I'd like to be buried Indian-style, where they put you up on a high rack, above the ground. That way, you could get hit by meteorites and not even feel it.

Or singing.

I sing, but how I choose to dress in the privacy of my home is none of your business! [Smile]
