Oh, BTW....

In the finished site the red light will flash and touching the text on the right will trigger a mouseover to change the picture on the viewer.

I'm also trying to fix that little green shape (gee, aren't I descriptive? *o_O*) on the bottom...grrrr...

Actually, Andrew, it is a Trek only board. Check the main page. It says 'Star Trek', and under that title you find a link to this forum. CC just hasn't gotten around to making a forum for general Sci-Fi yet

The Flare Forums are for Sci-Fi, not just Star Trek. The SolarEclipse Network may be branching out into some Star Wars stuff in the futute as well.

No, sorry about that....I'm a paranoid, anal artist who would throw a total hissy fit if I ever found anyone using my layout on their site. *LOL*

No offence, I trust you guys, I just don't release many public copies of my stuff without making sure nobody else could possibly use it.

This makes me reconsider my opinion to restrict this forum to Trek. Anyone who has nice graphical stuff should keep it coming. I can't help I love this PADD, sorry, panel. Dani, would you give me some hints how you have done it? I'm a bloody technical designer who can only do flat starship schematics.

Hints? Good grief...I really wouldn't know where to begin...The best thing to do is to pick a graphics program and get to know it VERY well...I'm just getting to that point now. All the graphics I do are made with Photoshop 5, which I will swear by as THE best general graphics tool around. There's no 3D in this at all, all the shadows, bumps and indentations are all created by photoshop filters.

I'd love to field any more specific questions...

Oh, I'm also changeing the mouseovers a bit...each viewscreen will be different, not just showing different text. Once again, I'm just tired and calling it quits for the evening...*L* Total project time sits at around 6 hours or so.
