My cousin Darla sent me this. She explains her husband has heard this before.
From her.
I didn't reply to that one. I'm hiding under the desk.
(I know she lives over a thousand miles away, but it never hurts to be careful!)
How many women with PMS does it take to screw in a light bulb?
One. ONE!! And do you know WHY it only takes ONE?
Because no one else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb. They don't even know the bulb is BURNED OUT.
They would sit in this house in the dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it OUT. And once they figured it out they wouldn't be able to find the light bulbs despite the fact that they've been in the SAME CABINET for the past TEN YEARS. But if they did, by some miracle, find the light bulbs, TWO DAYS LATER the chair that they dragged from two rooms over to stand on to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!!
AND UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE CRUMPLED WRAPPER THE STUPID LIGHT BULBS CAME IN. WHY??? BECAUSE NO ONE IN THIS HOUSE EVER CARRIES OUT THE GARBAGE!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES OF GARBAGE THAT ARE 12 FEET DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THIS HOUSE...THIS WHOLE FREAKIN HOUSE!!

I personally feel that scientists got it wrong. It's not that they're perfectly normal human beings most of the time, and just deranged psycho's for 3 days. It's that 3 days out of 28 they are calm, reasonable, and want sex. It's the other 25 days when they are moody, agressive, stroppy, sensitive, and unwilling to put out.
Possibly.

No, don't be too quick to judge. I was married to one of those. Only it was more like 1 day out of 28 (if I was lucky).
Please, will the other females confirm that this was very atypical behavior? If not, I think staying single and reclusive seems somewhat more appealing.

That sounds rather like my mom, too. But I think it's because I put off housework until she yells at me to do it. From my experience, that reaction not atypical--only after continually repeated irresponsible behavior does the bomb go off. When I react that way, it's almost exclusively triggered by my brother, except it doesn't work because he doesn't give a damn and shouts louder than I can.
