It's Diane's Birthday. And she turns 19 today, I think.

Birthday Celebration suggestions? Objections? Initiations?

Thanks, Tahna. I spent just about all day playing my new video game.

Happy Birthday... girlfriend

Well, that sounds like an interesting way to spend your birthday... doing nothing at all...

So what game did you play all day? Tomorrow Never Dies? Goldeneye? The World Is Not Enough? I'm on the phone with Justin and he wants to find out... he's bored.

All day playing a video game? What happened to the clubs? What happened to the Parties? What happened to your friends? What happened to your fun?

Well, if trying out that video game is fun, then it's fine by me. Who got you that game anyway?

Tahna: I'm not a party person. Especially if I have to plan it. : And my mom got me the game. It's sort of becoming a tradition that my brother and I each get a game on our birthdays and one for Christmas. We can't get games any other time even if we have the money.

The game is Rayman 2: The Great Escape for N64. I was gonna get Kirby 64, but it had mediocre ratings. I thought about Excitebike 64, but I don't like racing games too much. I didn't even consider Perfect Dark because I hate getting constantly shot at (I did play Goldeneye). RPGs for the PC concentrate too much on dungeon exploring and killing, and I prefer more story. I actually found a PC adventure game called "The Longest Journey" that had a really fascinating storyline, but it doesn't have an US publisher and I'd have to order it from a UK website using pounds, which is too much trouble and I'd have to wait a lot longer. Rayman 2 had pretty good reviews on a number of sites, so I got this one.

What sucks is that at least three games I want (Zelda: Majora's Mask, Aidyn Chronicles, an RPG, and Paper Mario, another RPG) are coming out this fall around the same time, which means I can't get all of them as soon as they come out.

Oh, you poor dear. Having to use pounds. Do you have ANY idea how much stuff I have to buy from America using crappy dollars? HUH? Using your fucking screwed up money system and having to wait 4 weeks because some IDIOT deceides that as punishment for our better sense of humour, we have to pay TWICE AS MUCH for flipping EVERYTHING! TO MUCH TROULBE! TRY LIVING OVER HERE AND HAVING TO COPE WITH US PIGHEADEDNESS THAT INSISTS ON PUTTING "ZIP CODE" AND "STATE" ON ALL THEIR ADDRESS ORDER FORMS! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Hi everyobdy! Seriously, if your using any fro of credit card, it's no hastle. It gets converted automatically you know. Or do they want cash, and then you'd have the hasssle of having to go out and get real non-green money? HMMMMMM?

And as a final point, why can't you get games at other times? Lord knows computer games don't last my from Christmas to my birthday...

Well, that was lovely Liam... I was going to buy Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force but now I don't feel like it. I ended up buying Sim City 3000 Ultimate! Thanks a lot...

Well, I wasn't sure if I'm gonna get charged extra for service fees for the exchange to pounds, since my mom told me that happens when she transfers money from Taiwan.

And my mom won't let us get games any other time is b/c we'd play them all the time and not do homework and study and such. And she's probably right.

Yeah, you'd get charged. Probably only a couple of dollars though. Although I'm not even going to pretend that I understand the US currency and taxation system. Quite frankly, it's mad.

But come on, you're 19! Shouldn't you be rebelling against your mum by now, or something? I'm sure I did. I remember my mum telling me "don't wear that jacket, it doesn't go with your top". And I said "Screw you mum, I'll wear what I'll like". And then I went and changed tops. And said sorry. But I said it really sarcastically. He he he.

Oh, I rebelled all right. I rebelled by renouncing Christianity.

Oh well, I suppose that'll have to do.

Now go and draw a rude part in the toilet, and you're all set.
