In an ideal world, that guy who played the cop on "Die Hard" & "Family Matters" should be the president. But, because the USA is so densely populated with people who are dense, they'll vote Bush. Damn second ammendment.

Reginald VelJohnson? Heh...
I wasted my vote. I WAS planning to write in Ambassador Duke, but on my walk over to Rogers Park, I started thinking that, while having Hunter S. Thompson as President would be MONDO fun, I still intend to habitate in this nation for a little while longer.
Being that I couldn't really feel anything grand for any of the candidates available to me, I decided to write in someone who I know a grand job: John Sheridan.
What the fuck. He's gonna be president ANYway...

Now, now, Jeff. You're getting a little flamey with that comment.
The majority of liberals aren't stupid. A reasonable-sized chunk, yes, but not the majority, by any means. Most are simply ignorant.
Then you've got the 1% or so that are actual socialists, which are a combination of both...

Well, coming from my parent's home-cooked dinner, I heard on AM radio (NPR? I'm not sure) that Bush was ahead ... by *.1* ... it was something like 43.5% Bush, 43.4% Gore ...
Earlier in the day (a few hours before polls closed), another AM station reported that Maryland's voter turnout was estimated at 80% ... now, obviously, this number isn't final, but -- wow! 80%?! That's great, considering usually only 50% of registered voters actually vote.
Anyway, Maryland is Gore's.
JeffR: Call me stupid if you want. You're the one throwing your lot in with the same party that got David Duke elected in '89.

The question is who will win the election, not who should win the election, how stupid anyone could possibly be for disagreeing with me because I am YHWH himself descended upon the planet here to wage my bloody vengence upon my children, or why group X should all be sent to work camps.

Man, this is too close to call. Each TV station has different counts for electoral votes, so I have no clue who is really leading...
