Speaking of rebuilding databases, after I got a new PC my old computer decided to crash and I eventually lost alot of data, my ICQ database included.
If anybody here still rememebers me (or like fabrux said, still cares), drop me a message so I can add you. My contact list is pathetically small right now and I'd like to make it a bit larger.

They're up to 9 digits now? Small wonder, with all the people registering and using it once only, to send those moronic spam messages about online casinos and sex sites.

I rememeber back in the day (never tought I'd hear myself say that) when my UIN was only 6 to 7 digits long. yeah that was when we had decent ICQ programs like '99b. And speaking of those spam messages, I NEVER got any, but I installed ICQ 2000b for the first time and I log on, and what to my surprise happens? around SIX "free sex shows" messages pop up.
