Normally, I enjoy the humour from our trans-atlantic neigbours, as they have that old lady who's on our money on TV alot, but this one slipped past my head.

Well, given the name of the show, and the type of questions, I'd say it's probably somehow related to the US show Family Feud. And, if you don't know what that is, I can't help you, 'cause I'm not going to explain the entire concept of the show. :-)

It's a family that fights. But family fights doesn't sound that good, so family feud.

100 ordinary people in the street are asked a question, such as "name something associated with computers"
During the actual show, members of two families are asked the same questions, and they have to guess the six most popular answers. For instance, the ppublic might have answered the above question with "games" "a keyboard" or "porn".
The humour comes from the fact that the people in the examples above have not given "typical" answers. Some are very cultural, for instance, "pigs" is a derogatory term for the Police, AKA the Old Bill.
