I love the assembly! Makes me all sweaty and shekshie! NOT!!! But if you pull it off you feel like you've done something right in this screwed-up world.
My computer desk turned out functional. *and there was much rejoicing*
Yaay!

Ikea is a good place to buy furniture, I bought a bookshelf from the store 8 years ago and it survived moving and an earthquake in 1994. It now holds a good portion of my Star Trek stuff.

And Jeff, the people who said that the Swedes didn't do anything good apparently never met the Swedish bikkini team in a Saab convertable.

Just a humble, little "you-don't-hear-that-every-day".

Not included are; Linux and LapTop-monitors. I honestly didn't know about some of the points in that list.

My largest bookshelf is constructed out of cinder blocks and largeish chunks of wood.

I just bought a bookcase on Sunday. Heavy. Nice, though. My entire library fits on it, all unconsciously perfectly psychologically arranged for questions of interest to be asked during perusal.

I wouln't say that anyone who has ceased to post every time you rant has "realized that they couldn't win" Omega. It's more like "oh, great he comes Mr. conservative frontal lobotomy boy who only hits one note over and over and over and over..."
