Hey folks.

Been looking for some floorplans, preferably for townhomes. Thinking about buying one in a few years, and I want to start getting some info about townhomes ...

So, any good websites that have floorplans? I've hit some links through www.google.com, but I'm looking for something more comprehensive ...

Thanks!

Ummm... I can't think of any off-hand. However, I bet you'd turn up something looking through architectural digests and things like that. The websites of real estate agencies would also be a good place to start looking as well. Century 21 and ReMaxx are to agencies that come to mind (but I don't know their addresses, sorry).

Ugh.

Anyway, I found a townhouse I like a lot! It's got all the requirements I'm looking for: two car garage, basement rec room, spacious, open main floor ... and it's convenient to D.C. to boot!

I speak of none-other than the Astoria floorplan.

I love the garage! Rear-entrance! Yay! Enough room for the Jeep and the soon to be Celica. Paint the rec-room a dark red, put in a full bar and a pool table ... I'd like to get the townhome with the main floor entry, so that people aren't instantly attracted to the bar

And so we go up to the main level. Entertainment center and couches go in the living room, a nice dining room table, and the grill goes on the deck

I don't quite know what I'll do with the two bedrooms on the floor above that, but it's a safe bet no kids will go in those yet as, well, I'm childless. I was thinking I could turn one into a study of sorts -- a place to write and what not. I guess the other one could become a guest room ...

Well, the big question comes to the master bedroom. The bed, of course? A little TV, dresser in the closet ... but should the bed go in the master bedroom, or the loft above it? Whichever I decide, my "library" would become the other room.

Anyway, I'm very excited about this. Now, let me just get some stuff published and I'll be on my way ...

Of course, you'd have to write a decent story first.

I'd smite you, but you're not worth the effort

Smooth handling of dialogue?

Rear-entrance! Yay!

I really think I don't want to know what you're writing about, Jeff!

[Edit: Mind outraced hands. But the effect was funny, I'll give it that.]
