The good thing is that school starts tommorow. I've got Writing Fiction and Brit Lit t/ 1798 Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and then Intro American Theatre and Folkore and Lit on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Very much looking forward to that ... (lots of new phone numbers).
The bad news is that a co-worker of mine might be dead. There was an accident just north of where I live along York Rd., when a refuse truck collided with a red Honda Civic. A girl I work with lives in that area ... and you guess it, drives a red Honda Civic. So far, the driver has only been identified as "a dead woman." I'm watching the news to see if they'll have her I.D. on tonight.
Talk about timing, the news just gave the woman's name. It's not her. She's (well, was) a 72-year old woman who stopped at a stop sign, then accelerated into the path of a truck, causing it to collide with another vehicle.
I know it's sad to be thankful that Mrs. Doris (Dorothy?) Seward died today, but I'm really glad it wasn't my friend. : hew::
