As my friend told me, she looked like a Goth smack addict.

I have no idea why she wore that, it is not a very flattering outfit.

Maybe I'm missing something, but the only problem I see is that her eyes look like they've been circumscribed in half-inch thick blue-black lines. Other than that, she looks fine. Which is odd in itself, because I've never thought Gwyneth Paltrow was very attractive...

Anyone here see Royal Tennenbaums. That's why her makeup looks the way it does. I actually like the way she looks. Say what you will about the dress, I find her shapes to be rather compelling.

I didn't watch the Oscars so I'm still clueless about this whole Gwenyth Paltrow thing, but...wasn't the dress see-through...and she wasn't wearing a bra?

I personally think she looks quite gorgeous there.

I'd still want to see her wear a different top. She just looked strange when she and Ethan Hawke walked on stage to present an Oscar. I thought I had X-ray vision.

Actually, that pick I found wasn't THAT bad - I guess it's because it was taken when she arrived - but during the night that dress made her breasts look like she'd slept on them for a few hours - they were all misshapen and that dress looked like she had covered them in clingwrap! Not a good look... and NO I wasn't talking about her eye make up
If you saw her during the oscars or at interviews afterwards (like that one with that gay prat intern on Leno) my first line "ugly bags of mostly water" fits quite nicely!
Not a great dress.
