These are two portions of a large picture from the Hubble website, taken by the advanced Hubble camera
The entire image is huge, with pretty good detail. There are a lof of pictures on the website.
You can see a LOT of galaxies in the pictures, around 6,000 in the full Tadpole image alone. They say many of them date back from the beginning of time. I'm sure each of these galaxies have millions of their own stars. It's hard to believe some people doubt the existance of life...out there.

Most don't get it. With FOX network running programs about how the Moon Landings were faked, it's a wonder people believe that we really have a scope in orbit.
Then there are the ones who believe that GOD created the universe just for us. They would rather believe what someone else tells them instead of what they see for themselves.

I don't think that the idea that God created the universe and the idea that there is life on other planets are mutually exclusive.
If you're talking about the God described i the Bible, it should be noted that the Bible speaks specifically about the affairs and issues dealing with the Earth.
However, I agree whole heartedly that, whatever your religious beliefs, the shear amount of what's out there is truly staggering. Not to mention incredibly beautiful.

I don't think we can even comprehend the amount of other worlds out there. So many galaxies with so many stars and planets. And we can barely see a small amount of them. I've gotten almost a gig of images from the Hubble site this week, I love looking at everything they've recorded.

Makes you think about how incredibly tiny and insignificant we really are.

I am wondering why people have always tried to limit the power of God in what He may or may not have created..... If you are one to believe in such a thing....

I don't believe in God, but I know there's got to be some sort of force out there.
