I've just seen the episode "Beyond Repair" (the one after Benton leaves). My questiond are: how long do I have to wait to see this episode?, and: I thought that Mark had his tumor removed in the previous series when he had his head cut open - if so how can it kill him?

Um... ER used the word "shit" in an episode a couple years ago. A lot of places (including here in St. Louis) bleeped it out. It was a big deal at the time. I don't even watch the show, and I remember it...

Yes, the tumor came back. Mark was yelling at Rachel at the hospital when he accidentalliy bites his tongue severely as it starts bleeding. Susan tries to treat him and tells him to open up his mouth and stick out his tongue straight. He sticks out his tounge toward one side but believes it's out straight. He goes to Neurology and back to New York to see that doc that took out his tumor. That doc tells him is a new regrowth and this time it can't be operated on. He gives Mark about 10 months to live and states that he really should have been dead already. Mark goes on medication and hides the bad news from everyone except for Susan who already knows. Elizabeth eventually finds out as does everyone else. He realizes it's beginning to be hopeless so why bother trying to prolong the inevitable. He volunterily goes off medication (though he's still taking some meds that only help control himself temporarily) and quits his job.
[Edited because of a typo, even though there are probably others]

Well, at least none of y'all need a lie-detector test to prove that you know that Jake slept with Kimberley who has Luke's baby, and Susan married Margo.

Hell if I know. Like I said, I don't watch it. I just remeber that it was a big deal, and it was on the news and such. I only remember it because it seemed such a sad commentary on our society when we're so hung up that the use of a random combination of four letters on a television program is big news...
