of course, this was just a cursory examination of the envelope.. i did a screengrab of the image and enlarged it a bit .. it had been sized very small in the VHS version i did the screengrab from, so i sharpened it some with a couple filters .. then i used a very rare image enhancing shop filter, the sequence of which is known only to Bernd, myself, and three other Trekkies who are in hiding near the Pakistani border. The enhancement really helps, allowing me to make out the text on the envelope, so i enlarged it more. $

$poilers for the image here .. as per the original image analysis, it is a deal of some sort, but it appearsto be Liberac and Jango Fett, wearing full length denim skirts exchanging a can of Crystal Pepsi. the registry 'NCC-956' is plainly visible in the left corner of the frame, contradicting the NX-02-B registry deciphered by Greg Jein and Bjo Trimble in the Flare Concordance and The Making of Flare by Stephen Whitfield.

Yet another example of TPTB reusing model effects shots. I'm surprised that we don't just see the same model for everything everywhere. I'll bet they'll even use a K'tinga in Enterprise, sheesh.

Hold on! Hold on! I have contrary evidence directly from Doug Drexler, but I'm only emailing it to people in my personal Treknology harem for now. But I've sent a sycophantic email to him, (he happens to be my best friend, actually), and in the unlikely event that he gives me clearance to show the general public, I'll be able to tell you all.

I've seen the Drexler pictures! the detail on the back of Liberace's jacket is appaling.. it looks like it was melted after it was painted, and he is missing a nacelle, if you know what i am saying... where did the get that color scheme?! and why does it say 'Raging Queen'?.. also, I believe that the denim skirts are from the Gap, while most other fans assume they are made from pieces of Y-Wings

i believe that liberace is the real son of skywalker, and the y-wing skirts from the gap (which allow him to float gracefully in the sky while giving him his best fruity look) proves that theory.

The_Tom: Just for that comment, I'm not going to show you the last two photos Drexler sent me

The really annoying thing is that a line from "The Lightness and the Dark" established that the King Neptune costume wasn't invented until 2357. And from the Drexler photos I can make out prawn detailing on Liberace's collar, so I think we can consider this as rock-solid proof that registry numbers are non-sequential...
