... and a bunch of other stuff happened too.. They Might Be Giants played a CD signing at the Borders at PP Mall.. free to anyone who might have been there, wasnt really hyped a lot. A calm, nice show with a lot of laughs and a signing session.

I didnt have the CD so i had them sign the only thing i had with me.. the DS9 Tech Manual.

crazy.

plus, i went with a girl and probably am going to be getting some play tomorrow, despite the fact that im trying to avoid it to be fair to Asia. decisions, decisions

You were supposed to buy No!. That's the whole point of an instore appearence.

And what do I get when I visit Borders? No Deltron 3030, that's for sure. And a clerk who suggests that if I like "books and things" I should come round to the gran' openin', ya hear? Am I a bad person? Is it my closet elitism? I would do penance! I would clean things!

So has anybody ever determined conclusively whether they were, in fact, giants?

I trust he wasn't Particle Man. He won a lot, though.

Not to be confused with the Molecule Man, or the Atom. Or even Quark.

Cap: Don't feel too strange. I've got Quentin Tarantino's sig in my copy of MUCHO MOJO, by Joe R. Lansdale. It was the only thing I had handy.

On top of that it was a library copy, but you know...fuck them, I kept it. I told them I lost it, so Quentin ended up costing me about twenty bucks so I could keep my library card.

Strange, eh?

Yes, you never know when in-depth knowledge of the layout of the promenade might help you navigate the local shopping mall.

Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

Actually, if you ever go to the Bluewater mall in Kent, you may remember those words. . . The resemblance is uncanny.

What, it's a two-story circular mall with odd fish skeletons hanging off the ceiling and a three-story bar and casino in the middle?
