I had my ear cut open today by a flying shard of wood from the power saw. It nearly ripped my left earlobe off.

So we went to the emergency room, and they sewed it back on. I got a bunch of novacaine, and I'm on pain pills.

I hate this fucking house. Not only is it costing me a bundle, and making me go insane with working on it, but now it's physically attacking me.

Woe. I am now deformed. We'll see how bad it looks in a few days...

Next thing you know, the walls will start to bleed. Er, hopefully not because of your blood.

Wow. I had a real sense of deja vu when I read this post. . . I had to check the date to make sure it wasn't a renewed old thread.

Yeah me too, that bit about the maiming wood almost gave me a hard-on.

A hard one? Geez, the fantasies people have these days...

How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Or chop? [Smile]

Ouch. The worse my parents' house ever did to me was part of the bathroom ceiling falling in on me as I was taking a shower. At least, you're okay.

No such thing as "Bad Wood".

Give the swelling time to go down, it will look better.

Houses are little more then Black Holes for money.

Guess you buzzed.

My parents' home nearly severed my left little finger when I was 4.

Never grab the rail of the door to pull yourself up so you'll be tall enough to reach the button.

On the first day of kindergarten, no less.

Are you referring to the ear, or what you mentioned above your quoted remark?

If you're in the men's gym shower in high school, then there is indeed such a thing as "bad wood." Not that I speak from experience or anything.
