Okay, I'm having troubles with Outlook XP and I was wondering if someone could help me out. And no, don't tell me to use another program please.
Whenever I receive emails from automated mailing programs dealing with uni stuff, the message goes from my inbox to my ASDB mail folder. I have not told Outlook to put the mail in that folder. I made a rule so that mail from these lists goes to a folder for uni stuff, and it sends two copies of each email that folder in addition to the one copy to the ASDB folder. Also, some spam goes to the ASDB folder. Any ideas why its doing this? As you can probably guess. the ASDB folder is the first on the folder tree.

We appreciate your concern. It is noted and stupid.

Make sure the proper filters *ALSO* have the rule "... and stop processing more rules."
Otherwise you'll end up with copies.
The order in which the rules are applied also makes a difference. You may need to move the rules up or down in order to get the proper effect.

Whenever I'm having trouble with my outlook on life, I just tell myself to stop drinking that vodka, that's right, poouur it back in the bottle, yeees, nooo, I said pour it, that's it, no I said stop drinking it, damnit WHAT THE HELL IS THE MATTER WITH YOU? Then I take my razor and carve greek numerals in my arm whilst whistling "Fly me to the moon".
My Outlook starts quicker through Windows Messenger than if I click the Outlook-icon directly. Such a fickle thing, life is.
