Our office has been monitoring our internet us for well over a year, but we got word today of a crack down. I have a new supervisor, and we are probably going to clash, even without my internet us. Untill you see me post again, I wont be around the site, or any site for that matter, till I'm online at home again. My experience with ISP's from home have all been bad. I may try cable, but most of my interactions with Charter have not been productive for either of us. We'll see what happens.
I will still be logging into my Yahoo account, untill they tell me to stop, or I end up getting canned, which ever comes first.

Just keep the surfing restricted to lunchtime, is that so hard? They can't be so anal that they forbid internet usage even during lunch? Or is the office closed over lunch, ousting you to some corporate restaurant?

Turns out it's not even that bad. once again, it's back to Porn and Hate sites, and no gambleing. I'll have to cut down on the amount of time I spend online, but I can handle that. I've been doing it since last Thursday, and the withdraw is almost over.

I usually leave the building at lunch time, just to get away. The office has grown from about twenty when I started, to over one hundred, 15 years later. There are a few people who have been here longer, or as long as I have, but not that many. I used to know everyone, and made it a point to introduce myself to new pwople, but there are people working here now that I haven't said ten words to in a year, and still get the names confused. I'm still keeping track of the Sci-Fi fans though!
