As much fun as a thread of everyone doing this is:

Isn't there some sort of catch? Reading isn't just a case of looking at letters and reading a word. People recognise shapes, they think in advance what the next word is going to be, they associate, and do other crazy and complex things.

So when the words are mixed-up, they state that people can still read them. Which is obviously true. But can they read them as quickly?

--------------------
Yes, you're despicable, and... and picable... and... and you're definitely, definitely despicable. How a person can get so despicable in one lifetime is beyond me. It isn't as though I haven't met a lot of people. Goodness knows it isn't that. It isn't just that... it isn't... it's... it's despicable.

I seem to be able to read it just a tad bit slower, but nothing that I couldn't handle for a given period of time trying to read.

This is how we will communicate when the machines make us their slaves. But what about words the reader doesn't recognize or proper names. I suspect those might be problematic. It does provide that two and three letter words will always be correct. I read 359s initial post with surprising ease. On the other hand, and perhaps I'm thick, but I still haven't figured out Omega's jumble. Insufficient context, I suspect.

Omega said "Tha's ass".
Street lingo for "you've got something good there", he's obviously praising this new system of communication.

No, then you will speak like this:

"Am I here?"
"Is this still a cookie?"
"Is there a spoon?"
"Am I a spoon?"
"Follow the white rabbit."
"Clean and cook the rabbit."
"Use rabbit fur as hat."
"Are you from the IRS?"
"Do the IRS have earplug radios?"
"Out of my way, old man, I'm gonna go through both doors at the same time, you just watch!"
