I have the Sanyo DVD/VCR entertainment system (DWM-3900) and I accidentally sat on the remote. I now have the DVD equivelant of the Windows Blue screen of death where I see now in a blue background "Progressive Scan Mode" and cannot see anything when I try to play DVD's now.

Not knowing how Sanyo sets up or configure their players, I couldn't even guess on how to help. Well maybe I can. Have you tried unplugging and replugging the power cord to try to reset the whole system? Or perhaps it's in some kind of player menu mode that you can just hit ENTER, OK, or EXIT on your remote to get rid of that screen.

Well I've had it unplugged and hoping that it will do the trick. As for trying to exit off that screen... not working.
