Portugal was a holiday while I was still a toddler. Does that mean it really counts? Not sure. I was born in Venezuela, and my mother is Brazilian.
Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Czech Republic*. And quite obviously, the Netherlands. That's actually more countries than the US/Canada combo, but it looks even more pathetic.
* - the tourist guide consistently referred to the "Chick Republic", which is a gross overstatement. And you can imagine the dissapointment when we went to a nature reserve called "Chick Paradise"...

I've been wracking my brains, trying to remember if I've been to Spain. I don't think I have - one year my family went there on holiday, but I was living in a squat in London that summer. I will probably go to Spain - and Portugal, again - one day, but not in a hurry. It's too easy. For a weekend away I could go to Barcelona, I guess - but there are lots of other cities I'd like to go to for a long weekend - St. Petersburg, Rome, Istanbul, New York, Vienna, Marrakesh. . . And for a week away I'd sooner go to Italy or Greece again. Or try Malta, Gozo, wherever - get a villa for a week.
I need a plan. At least two new countries per year. Bit optimistic, that, especially given everything else that's going on. Got a wedding to go to in Warsaw next year, so that's Poland taken care of. And maybe a villa somewhere afterwards - http://www.jamesvillas.co.uk/ will do the trick!

I've been all across America: while that only scores 0%, it's a bit like traveling across many small countries (some from the Twilight Zone) with quirky dialects and customs.
I've been to the Bahamas and Virgin Islands but thats hardly a life-altering experience.
I went into Canada as a child but either dont recall it or blocked the memory for some reason....
