Man you should'a seen the nerds in the mall last night lining up at 8pm for it...all the while masterbating to the thoughts of what they were going to do with it when they got it home. But, hey, if that's what keeps the kids off the streets, good for you!

Hey, that's a riot. But why can't I reach the first episodes on that site, the oldest seems to be Episode 7. Dost one have to be a member to see 1-7?
"Sheila" the talking battletank giving the driver a tutorial was funny.

They're rotating them, I guess. So like next Tuesday you'll be able to download episodes 13-18 or whatever. Aparently. Dunno. I wound up buying the DVDs on the cheap from Gamestop for some reason.
I queued up for it. Kind of weird. Not at all like lining up to see a movie on opening night because everyone rushed home right after to try it out. Finally finished it tonight. Whew. Superawesome. (My eyes are burning.)

I found 1-36 on archive.org, I got the trailer and Episode 0 through google, and 37-42 on redvsblue's homepage.
I have only seen 0-21 yet but this is very nice, very different, almost surreal. I played the Blood Gulch map for about 2-3 months this spring so I get all the jabs they're stoughing in there.
It helps that I have the flue and am sipping liquor now and then to kill off germs in the throat of my personb.
I took a sneak-peek at episodes in the 40's, the meeting between the characters in the series (real Halo-soldiers, living in that universe) and regular multiplayers playing Halo for fun (-"Fucking camper!! -"It's a legitimate strategyyyy!!!") was just unschtzbar, in fact I would almost say priceless.

Um, Balaam? Is this DVD by any chance High Definition nicelike? Or is it grainy? The clips I found where 360x240, they do the job but some scenes with horizon action are hard to make out.

Sorry to hear you've got the flu, Nim. OTOH, it does give you an excuse to sit around and watch dumb things on the web. The DVDs aren't like crazy-great Criterion quality, but I found them to be much nicer than the online clips. The audio is much clearer and the framerate makes the brief action bits more watchable. Stuff in the background is still difficult to make out. The commentary was very funny, btw. Looking forward to what they'll be able to do with Halo 2.
