Sapphire Radeon 9800, 128 MB. I've had this card for a year and a half, but now since I got me a Radeon X800 Pro, I'm looking to shed this card to get some bucks back.
Note that I'm going to only sell to Canadian residents only, the buyer pays shipping, of course. The reason I will not be shipping to the States is that time and again, Customs has interfered with my shipments down south.
Initial asking price is $175. If you are interested, give me a PM.

There are non-Canadian places other than the US here, y'know. Places where stuff like this normally cost a fortune (ie, around 130). Places that have strong currencies and mean that $175 = 73. Good places. Places you like.

US, UK, whatever. Either way, shipping will cost a fortune. I may change my mind if someone can convince me so.
BTW, it is a NON-PRO. Clocked lower than the pro version.

Why do you care whether shipping to the UK will cost a fortune if the buyer pays shipping anyways?

The last time I shipped something to the U.S., the following happened:
1) Because of the high cost of shipping, I ended up having to lower the price at the client's request so he would cover the shipping costs.
2) In transit, Customs apparently opened up the box and tampered with the item.
3) As a result, when said item arrived at destination, item would not function.
4) I ended up having to refund the money and paid more money for shipping.
5) Customs CHARGES me duty fees for item.
So you see, it is cost-prohibitive to send something to the US or UK, especially if the said above things happen. I know this is one time, but I don't really want to go through the hassle again.
Besides, if shipping to the UK costs $40 for an item worth $175, is it worth it to you?

$40? Are you giving the graphics card it's own first class seat?
And customs may have the right to go through your stuff, but they don't have the right to break it. Complain.

No, but that's what I was told it would cost.
I did complain. It's the United States, what do you expect?

And $40 is still ridiculous. I know after conversion it works out to around 32pence, but still...

There was a letter that stated that "the U.S. Customs agency is not responsible for any malfunction this inspection may have caused".

No, especially since it's not even worth $175. In any dollar.
(Well, maybe the American one.)

But that's just stupid. What was the reason they inspected it for, anyway?

Post 9/11 paranoia, I believe. They destroyed a friend's laptop in the same exact way.
Cartman: It's Canadian Dollars, which is worth $140 American with the current exchange rate I believe.
