So, I'm trying to convert an old video project that some classmates and I did for history class in high school (way back in 1996), and we included a brief clip from "Return of the Jedi" as a bit of a joke.
Unfortunately, the Sony DV camera that I'm using has a "copyright protection" feature that somehow recognizes the imprint of the video clip that was dubbed from the original VHS tape onto the homemade VHS tape, and now is refusing to copy that section of the tape into its own internal DV tape.
So much for that hallowed right of the citizen, "fair use".
Would someone who has video capture capability (unlike me) mind creating a short clip for me, of the scene where the Ewoks appear and start bowing down to C-3PO? In gratitude, I will mail a copy of the completed DVD containing the video project to the generous individual -- although considering the incredibly poor quality of the acting and production values, expect extreme cheesiness!
The copy does not need to be high quality, although decent resolution would be appreciated (since this is intended to be viewed on a television). All I really need is the shots of the Ewoks bowing down to Goldenrod. Should only be about thirty seconds of video, at the most.
Thanks!
