Very intriguing, especially because it's very much in line with some of the discussions that I had with my Philosophy professor when I was taking a course on time travel a couple years ago.
And of course, depending on the nature of the universe and of time itself, this very same theory could also be said to apply to the future as well! (I was fated to type that, you know... )

Cartman: Yeah, I noticed that. I'd typed a post a while back, but it was lost when I didn't click "Submit" and closed my browser by accident, and then forgot to retype just then. I figured it was still worthy of discussion, even if it's not breaking news. Was I wrong?
Veers: Yep, a full six-week, three-credit undergraduate course on time travel, offered by the Philosophy department at the University of Delaware. It covers many subjects related to questions of metaphysics, reality, and identity and the nature of the universe. It was quite fascinating and educational at the same time.
