I think I have had trouble copying MS Office before, could it be that office is the problem? You may have to image the disk instead of doing a straight copy. I can't remember the name of the programme my buddy used, but he used it to image a copy to his hd before he could make a copy of XP.

a Good combo is Alcohol 120% and DaemonTools for Image burning and mounting. I use Alcohol to make an image, then mount it on DTools to make sure it's a good copy. Then I try burning it. Sometimes the image is just corrupted and it won't burn or run half the time.
