AS intricate and exciting as those directions are, would it not be easier to just buy waterproof LEDS like those used in car installs for the "electronic eye?" Many of them already come with a controller to make them scroll/flash/flicker/whatever you want them to do.... I think it'd be a lot less work.... in fact, I have more LEDs laying around my house than I really care to think about.... light bars, individual LEDs, diferent colors and sizes....
I'm just saying... why make it harder than it needs to be?
