Wow. And they face no penalty. I can't decide if this is awesome because of how much I dislike court proceedings, or just...really awful. You know I think I'll go with a little of both.

Sorry, I find that completely disgusting. Especially because of the probability of a life sentence if convicted. If you don't want to fulfill your civic duty, then get yourself excused. You don't play with people's lives like that.
