Damn that father has quick reflexes. Unbuckle the belt and get himself and his kid out the passenger door in the time it took for that to happen? Did you see it smash into the truck? I'd be fucking dead. Before I even realized what was going on, probably.

Wow, I hope the builder's going to be at fault, those pillars supporting it looked real flimsy.

I with my engineering background and father with his travel trailer background examined the footage and determined that the awning is shoddily designed. If it was properly constructed, the roof of the travel trailer would have been peeled off like a sardine can.

I don't think it smashed the whole cab. Just a few inches on the driver's side. Basically, it looks like it took off the door.

If you were sitting in the driver's side you'd still probably die from having a shit-ton of concrete and steel fall on the left side of your body.

Well, my point is that the guy didn't unbuckle himself and his kid and get both of them out the passenger door, all in the time it took for the roof to come down. All he did in that time span was unbuckle himself and scoot over a few inches.

now imagine the lawsuits. the jokes. point being, regardless of accusations of shoddy building codes (Sings 'that never happens in Americaaaaaaaaa!'), the father is still a complete and utter asshat (hmm, complacency? Funny. I was reading the latest Approuch about that...)
and it proves that god still gives a fuck about his wasted race by letting that family live. damn lucky. Damn, Damn Lucky indeed...
