Randy Pausch, recently famous for his battle with pancreatic cancer, and for giving an inspiring last lecture at Carnegie Mellon university this September finally lost his battle with cancer today.

Dr Pausch helped to create some of the world's leading Virtual Reality projects, like Alice, and Carnegie Mellon's ETC program.
