I always thought that starting these news threads was kind of like his unofficial job. And, a lot of his threads develope great discussions, and posting them in the news goodies thread might squash those discussions a bit, each time a new article is added. Do you really think I look in there anyway? To me its a lot of random stuff in there and discussion can be easily cut off by the addition of a new news story.
