I found the above article (click on the graphic) at Discovery online. On the one hand, I can see where they'd be reluctant to let him go before they were sure he'd survive, but to get him this close and spend so much time putzing around with him in such a small enclosure...

From what I saw on TV, he still wont hunt for himself. They put fish in his tank, and he swims by, checks them out, but doesn't eat them.
