Well, this weekend was busy for me. Friday night, I went to WeHo for a birthday party and came home just in time for that lovely wake up call, a 7.0 wakeup call. On Saturday, I went to Bravo Medical Magnet High School for a jazz workshop that I need for Academic Decathelon. Then on Sunday, I went to the AIDS Walk Los Angeles, where I ran 4 miles until I hurt my ankle tripping over a sprikler. When I got home at 5PM, I received my tickets to the Backstreet Boys concert for this Wednesday at the Great Western Forum.
I'm sure everyone is wondering why I wrote all this crap, and to answer everyone, I'm just letting off steam because I hurt my ankle and will have to hobble when I go to the Backstreet Boys concert.
So, anyone else had a productive weekend?

Now that you ask, I made over 60 pounds for giving "grinds" (extra tuition) to some young lads from my old school in Physics and Maths.
Not bad for 4 hours work, if I do say so myself.
And next weekend's a Bank Holiday weekend!! Roll on.

*sigh* OK, someone's gotta do this, and I guess it'll have to be me, the resident Flare Total Bastard.
Michael, I respect you as an individual and I respect whatever lifestyle choices you make.
But. . . the Backstreet Boys?!
They're a teenybopper band! They're for pre-pubescent girls! Their so-called music has no artistic merit whatsoever. In a year they'll have been forgotten, their fickle yet once so-faithful fans having moved on to the next big thing. The members will eke out the remainder of their youth as erotic dancers and rent boys. Long after they've been forgotten, the only monument to their existence will be your friends' continuing ridicule of your musical tastes.
We're doing this intervention because we care. Let it go!

Well, I was offered either the Backstreet Boys or John Tesh...and I really don't like falling asleep during a concert. Besides, I know boy bands last for a few years only...come on look at the Spice Girls!!!

If somebody offered me the choice between the Backstreet Boys and John Tesh, I'd just tell them to go screw themselves... *L*

Aww, c'mon, TSN... You wouldn't scalp the most expensive of the two tickets?

Well, I went to the concert Wednesday, and it was great...and my it was interesting what happend after the concert. I was able to meet the group and take pictures. But my Justin became jealous since I was surrounded by five good looking guys who are tired enough to be vunerable to anything... I am now scalping the autographs they gave me and saving the pictures for my sisters.
Oh Jubilee, too bad you didn't go with me at the concert, I would bet that you could have your own private little concert with the boys when we met them backstage...
