Just read this at Cinescape...

TNT's making the most expensive 2 hour TV movie ever in a production of George Orwell's "Animal Farm" (one of my favorite books, BTW) using "Babe" technology.

With the voices of...
Patrick Stewart as Napoleon
Kelsey Grammer as Snowball
Ian Holm as Squealer
Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Mollie
Julia Ormond as Jesse
Peter Ustinov as Old Major

Suffice to say, I'm am quite looking forward to this...

Well I'll be! I thought Peter Ustinov was dead!

I guess (or at least hope) not!

No, he's alive, he was on TV recently. Hmm, good characterisation choices. . .

*would find it very interesting if Napoleon referred to Snowball as "Number One"* :-)

*hasn't read Animal Farm in four years; hopes he got the characters right*

I've never read Animal Farm, but I've read 1984. Does that count?

Sieg: Actually, for optimum impact, sprawl out on floor one summer day and read both back-to-back in one sitting.
