I am fully prepared to be smited for bringing this up, but I must know...
I've been a bit nostalgic lately, and delving deep into the Forums looking at old threads, and suddenly remembered something that just kind of faded away.
When Flare opened, it was to be a set of Sci-Fi forums, not just Star Trek. To that end, it was intended to add two more Forums to the Science Fiction catagory. In fact, I started a thread in Incoming Hails asking people what they wanted.
And what happened, you ask? Well, nothing. Quite a few suggestions, none implemented. So what did happen to the idea of adding more Sci-Fi forums?

Well, I think what happened was that we already have alot of different forums to post in, and if you spread it out too much, you don't get many posts ANYWHERE.

Well, an Animation forum was actually one of the more popular ideas at the time, but CC vetoed it.
