Oh, I don't think so. Not in my case, anyway. My command of English is impeccable (and I have the perfect accent for it), but I could do pidgin/fractured English a lot better and funnier than Mahir or his imitators. What I like about the original is the enthusiasm and joie de vivre contained within. . . 8)
