Well, I can't promise anything personally, but, back when the Halloween colors were up, I asked CC if he was going to make similar adjustments at Xmastime. He said yes, so I let you go ahead and get your hopes up. :-)

Actually, if you want the whole conversation...
me: *LOL@Halloween colors at Forums*
CC: *L* What's so funny? ;-)
me: Are we going to get red and green at Christmas this year? :-)
CC: Yup.
me: Woo-hoo!
CC: It won't be red and green - it will probably be white, the logo being red and green. Can't make the two go together in alternating patterns.
me: You cannot, or you will not?
CC: Will not.
me: Aw, you're no fun...
CC: Imagine the problems for the red-green colorblind.
me: Well, they'll see alternating shades of grey, I suppose.
CC: *nod*
me: *is reminded of the TNG ep "Shades of Gray"* *shudders*
CC: *LOL*
me: But, that's not a reason not to do it. I mean, why not have absolutely nothing and say "if we had anything, think of the trouble for all the blind people*... :-)
CC: *LOL*

*Has a rare variation on red-green colorblindness*
Except I see colors that aren't there.
You know, I've noticed that sometimes when I open a new window, then leave it to come back to the forums, the colors are (briefly) in a sort of photonegative that would make a real cool colorscheme. But that's probably just this computer or something.

You do expect the forums to still be operational by then, don't you?
