No not the Star Trek Q, but the James Bond Q.

Desmond Llewellyn, better known as Q in the James Bond Movies was driving home when he was involved in a collision. He died at age 85 from massive internal injuries. He will be missed.

Oddly enough, they already set up his retirement in the most recent movie. Eerie.

Killed by a Fiat? Why couldn't it have been an Alfa-Romeo or Bimmer?

Rest in Peace, Q...

Hm... Kind of like when TNG killed off Sarek, and then Mark Lenard died.

For any actors out there: Don't let them get rid of your character unless you're already dead yourself...

"'...This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased. Deny it!' cried the Spirit stretching out its hand towards the city. 'Slander those who tell it ye! Admit it for your factious purposes, and make it worse. And abide the end!'"

Hm, this is weird. We had this 86-year old Dutch actor, and a week after I said aloud "how old musn't that guy be by now?" he died. Last week I wondered the same thing about Llewellyn. Now look what's happened.

To die of an accident at his age. Sad, sad, sad..
