Catch "Em

I like this animation very much. I feel our government is losing focus on Al Queda and the situation in Afghanistan in the movement to engage Iraq. As our government does this shifting, the will to capture, which is slower and more methodical, is losing ground to the will to kill the suspected terrorists. This is quick and effective, but leaves us with a gap in intelligence.

In the car destroyed in Yemen, there was a top official of Al Queda. I am sure he would have had important intelligence on his movement and its leader, Bin Laden. Now we will never know for sure.

Being spotted by a reconnaisance drone, and being in a position to be captured by US forces are two entirely different things.

Plus, all those who think that these guys would have allowed themselves to be captured, please take the little blue pill, it will restore your connection to THIS planet.

Rob,

But at least there would be the possiblity of capturing them. Sure, they might just wind up riddled full of holes, but at least you would have TRIED.

But the problem with capturing them is twofold.

One: You have to place people close enough to them to capture them. This is probably not as safe as it could be. With the bullets and the jihading and the murdering death and hyveenglavin.

Twofold: Does anyone make those Butterfly nets large enough? I mean, turbans are like, what, twenty times the size of a butterfly? And let's not forget the rest of them, and the beard is a whole other problem.

Snay, maybe they did.

Keyword possibility. Is it feasible? The answer was no.

They did capture one of Bin Laden's top Lieutenants and from all accounts it wasn't easy.

I'm going to bookmark this site. Absolutely hillarious.

Very amusing!

But there is a world of difference between being in a position to kill someone with a recon drone and being able to capture them. maybe is they fitted the Predator with claws of some kind?
