How dare you insult our leader. I demand retribution, and immeadiate apologies... and maybe some of those warm hats you all are so fond of.
Had it been me, I would have excused Ms. Ducros' comments as a simple mistake. She had incorrectly assumed he was mormon, and simply mispoke.

I'm not sure you fully grasp what reverse-world is like. There Alexander the Great is remembered for his great peace march to Macedonia, on which he disssolved an empire city by city, renaming them after native cultures and gods and such as he went, and raising huge numbers of people from the dead. He restored the Persian Empire, removed the Ptolemys from power in Egypt...

Hehehehehehe! I think we've stumbled across something!!
A diplomatic gaffe by a Canadian Prime Ministerial aide, likening the President of the United States of America to a monkey sets trends for the next 10,000 years towards the state of the world as we now know it... Planet of the Apes.

Ya know, we're not supposed to be referred to as the 51st state, isn't that honour supposed to go to Puerto Rico?

More accurately, referendums on statehood tend to be split right down the middle, with about fifty percent prefering to remain a...what the heck are they, anyway? A commonwealth? Protectorate? Territory? Anyway, what they are, and about fifty percent wanting to become a state. This split, I believe, has remained more or less consistent for a long time.
